Villa Caterina Cucina Italiana: Authentic Italian Dining Experience in Schwenksville

We had a fantastic experience dining at Villa Caterina. Our waiter Dom was fantastic. He was personable, helpful, and we were patient (and needed to be… it was packed and it took awhile) which made for a great evening. All the food was tremendous. Clearly made from scratch with care. The bread was about the best I have had at an Italian restaurant. My Pappardelle Bolognese was perfect. The rest of my group loved their meals as well. Allow for time because it may take awhile. It was totally worth the wait.

As we headed to Sellersville Theater for a concert we needed to find a place to stop for dinner. My wife, who is always amazing at finding great places to eat found this wonderful Italian Restaurant. Don't let the location fool you. From the moment we say down Dom (our waiter) was amazing. This guy was made to be in food service. He answered all our questions, had fantastic recommendations and constantly made sure we were taken care of (along with all his other guests). The food was fantastic, and the portions were more than adequate (considering I took half of my Eggplant Parm home and was completely stuffed. For appetizer we got the Bruschetta which was very flavorful with a hint of sweetness and not too much balsamic, perfect. Some potato soup which was also delicious and of course some bread. My wife got the Wild mushroom risotto, which came with a nice salad with lemon basil dressing. As I said, I got the Eggplant Parmesan which I bet weighed a pound and was delicious. That also came with a salad. The sauce was extremely good. Finally, the dessert, a freshly made slice of pistachio cake. I had never had this and let me tell you, I will try this in the future at other Italian restaurants but this one is going to be hard to beat. It was too die for!!! If you're in this area please give this restaurant a try I didn't think you'll be disappointed at all. And tell Dom we said hi!

Working in theater, my husband and I love a place with a good atmosphere, but they are getting harder and harder to find. We delighted in Villa Caterina’s ambiance, but then when our dinners arrived we were over the moon with the deliciousness of the food. Everything was fresh (the shrimp in my wife’s risotto was perfect!), authentic, and generously portioned. Stop reading this review and just go. The only complaint I would be able to muster is that I couldn’t stop eating my dinner because it was SO GOOD and left no room for dessert. Why are you still reading this review when you should be in the car on your way there now? Our server was fantastic, and when we asked some questions about the restaurant she brought over the owners who were the warmest and loveliest of people. Five stars is hardly adequate to express how wonderful our experience here was. Just go already! We went early on a Saturday, which was fortuitous because they filled up quickly with patrons who obviously knew about this gem. We are planning a return trip even though it is 3 hours away from our home! GO NOW!

Took my wife here for a lunch date. Service was good, food was quick and tastes really good. The pizza had a great crust! The fried mozzarella had a bit too much Parmesan on it for my liking, but overall was really good. 8/10 recommend just watch your step on the way in and out. Haha

This restaurant has a warm, lovely Italian atmosphere. The entrés come with a salad and each table is served plentiful bread and butter, making it hard to leave hungry! We took home plenty of leftovers and indulged in some delicious homemade desserts as well! Our server was friendly and attentive, great service!

My family had the most delicious dinner at Villa Caterina! The food and the service was outstanding! We're Italian and we went to Italy last year, not that it makes us experts but we felt like we were back in Italy. The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful especially with the hand painted murals inside the brick arches! Top your night off with the homemade limoncello! We can't wait to return and try their brick oven pizza. Highly recommend this Italian gem!

I had dinner here last night with some friends, it was a great experience! We were provided with excellent service and the atmosphere was great. The appetizers were delicious and the main course was even better. I ordered the sea bass, both the presentation and taste were top notch. They were out of brussle sprouts, which was substituted for asparagus, which came out great. Do see the attached photos and check them out for yourself.

We went to this lovely restaurant on a friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. The pizza had the same texture and taste of pizza dough you find in Italy. The fired pizza oven and of course the cook which I believe was the owner charred the crust perfectly. Pleasantly surprised to find the calamari and salad were excellent as well. The atmosphere and service also part of the great experience.
